The Tragically Hip to play Ottawa show at Canadian Tire Centre on Aug. 18

After announcing that lead singer Gord Downie is suffering from terminal brain cancer, the Tragically Hip has scheduled several Canadian shows, including one in Ottawa on Aug. 18.

After announcing that lead singer Gord Downie is suffering from terminal brain cancer, the Tragically Hip have scheduled several Canadian shows, including one in Ottawa on Aug. 18.

The show is set to take place at the Canadian Tire Centre at 7 p.m.

Tickets go on sale on June 3 at 10 a.m. ET, according to the band's website.
