Canadian country singer Shania Twain is performing in Ottawa on June 27 for her "Rock This Country" tour, in the first announced concert at Wesley Clover Field, the equestrian park in west Ottawa.

Twain, who recently ended her show in Las Vegas, will kick off her tour in early June in Seattle, Wa., and Vancouver.

She will visit Ottawa on June 27 at Wesley Clover Field, which is the west Ottawa equestrian park recently purchased by Terry Matthews' endeavour, the Wesley Clover Foundation.

Matthews and daughter Karen Sparks took over the Nepean National Equestrian Park and vowed to renovate it into a larger operation including concert venues, sports fields and more.

Tickets to the show, which will also feature Wes Mack and the Doobie Brothers, will be available on March 13, with a pre-sale on March 10.
