More than 500 Hydro Ottawa customers left without power in Stittsville
Two fallen trees closed roads in Centretown on Tuesday morning as winds blew and rain continued to fall throughout the region.
The first tree fell onto Glebe Avenue between Bank and Lyon streets and was quickly cleared by city crews.
The second tree fell onto Somerset Street West between Cartier and MacDonald streets.
Both roads have been reopened.
About 520 Hydro Ottawa customers were also left without power in Stittsville, specifically the Forest Creek Drive, Granite Ridge Drive, Azurite Crescent and Amethyst Crescent area.
Hydro crews restored the power by 11:45 a.m., Hydro Ottawa said.
