The Ottawa Redblacks say they're excited but focused as they head to Toronto to prepare for the 2016 Grey Cup.

The Redblacks, who lost the 2015 Grey Cup 26-20 to Edmonton, will face the Calgary Stampeders in this year's game on Sunday at BMO Field in Toronto.

"We're just going to focus on getting ready, and play the game and see what happens," head coach Rick Campbell told reporters at a news conference Tuesday morning before the team catches a plane to Toronto.

"We're as ready to go as we can be."

'It's all about how you finish'

Sophomore running back Kienan Lafrance — who came off the bench at Sunday's East Division final to run for 157 yards and score a key touchdown in his team's 35-23 win over Edmonton — said the team is really starting to "mesh" and become a family.

"We've had some ups and downs this season but I think it's all about how you finish and just peaking at the right time, so we're on the way up," he said.

Wide receiver Brad Sinopoli said the team is excited but trying to focus.

"Things are going to happen, it's going to be exciting for both sides, and again, we just have to remember it's just a football game and you've got to kind of block the other stuff out. ... It's going to be a tough test, for sure," he said.

But a little pressure isn't a bad thing.

"It's so cliché but this is why we do what we do. We put all this work in this whole season to get to this point, and to feel this — and guys get excited when they feel the pressure — that's what you want."
