Woman rescued after falling 12 metres into Orléans ravine
She had to be pulled out with ropes and a basket, fire department said
A woman suffered undisclosed injuries Saturday after she fell approximately 12 metres into an Orléans ravine.
First responders had to use ropes and a Stokes basket — a portable basket commonly used in search-and-rescue operations — to save the woman, after she slipped near Princess Louise Falls.

The woman was taken into the care of paramedics after the rescue, Ottawa Fire Services said in a release.
Her current condition is not known.
