A 47-year-old woman is dead after she was struck by a vehicle in the south Ottawa community of Greely on Monday, police and paramedics say.

A 47-year-old woman is dead after she was struck by a vehicle in the south Ottawa community of Greely on Monday, police and paramedics say.
First responders were called to the scene on Bank Street south of Parkway Road around 5:15 p.m.
Ottawa police said the woman, a pedestrian, was declared dead at the scene. There were no other injuries.
