Debates are going to be held throughout the city ahead of this October's municipal election. Check out the list below to find the debates being held in your ward.

Mayoral debates

  • Sept. 22: 11:30 a.m. at Lansdowne's Horticulture Building. Hosted by Green Energy Doors Open.
  • Sept. 25: 6 p.m. at Carleton University, Residence Commons, room 270. Hosted by the Rideau River Residence Association.
  • Sept. 26: 6:30 p.m. at the Shaw Centre. Hosted by Ecology Ottawa.
  • Oct. 1: 5 p.m. at the Shaw Centre. Hosted by Ottawa Tourism, the Ottawa Board of Trade and the Ottawa-Gatineau Hotel Association.
  • Oct. 2: 7 p.m. at Carleton University, Minto Theatre. Hosted by NowWhat?! Ottawa.
  • Oct. 9: 7 p.m. at the Tom Brown Arena. Hosted by the Federation of Citizens Associations of Ottawa.

  • Oct. 2: 7 p.m. at Dr. F.J. McDonald Catholic School.
  • Oct. 9: 7:45 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Elementary School, hosted by Carlingwood Community Association.

  • Sept. 24: 7 p.m. at Rendez-vous des aînés francophones d'Ottawa. Hosted by the Bradley Estates Community Association.
  • Oct. 3: 6 p.m. at the Orléans branch of the Ottawa Public Library.​
