Ottawa weather forecast says rain for 6 of next 7 days
Friday forecast calls for 60% chance of rain, high of 15 C
We don't expect flooding in the capital, but rain is in the forecast for six of the next seven days.
Friday's forecast features a mainly cloudy day with a 60 per cent chance of showers and a northeast wind at 20 kilometres per hour. The high is 15 C with a UV index of five (moderate).
Tonight remains mainly cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers and a low of 9 C.
The only day without rain, at this moment, is Saturday. That is good news for those running the 2K, 5K and 10K races for Ottawa Race Weekend.
The forecast is a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 22 C.
The marathoners and half-marathoners could see rain on Sunday. It should be cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers and a high of 24 C.
Monday should feature a 40 per cent chance of rain, too, but a little more sun mixes in as the high reaches 23 C.
Rain is very likely on Tuesday and Wednesday, and there's a chance on Thursday, too.
