Ottawa-Vanier connects Centretown east to the Greenbelt — specifically, the Rideau Canal to Green's Creek. Its southern border roughly follows Highways 417 and 174, with a bonus area south of the 174 down to Blair and Innes roads.

The riding includes the neighbourhoods of ByWard Market and Sandy Hill, Vanier, Rockcliffe, Overbrook and Gloucester.

Nearly one-third of its residents told the 2021 census they don't speak English most often at home.

The riding has been Liberal since 1971.

Six candidates are running for the seat. CBC adds candidates when they're confirmed by Elections Ontario or listed by one of the four parties with a seat at Queen's Park at dissolution.

Nominations closed Feb. 13.

Voting is now possible at local election offices. Advance voting locations are open Feb. 20-22. Voting day is Feb. 27. Elections Ontario has more information on the range of voting options.
