Man charged after OC Transpo bus driver threatened with knife
A 19-year-old man has been charged with possession of a weapon and other charges after threatening an OC Transpo bus driver with a knife on Wednesday afternoon.

A 19-year-old man has been charged with possession of a weapon and other charges after threatening an OC Transpo bus driver with a knife on Wednesday afternoon.
It happened at the Hurdman Transitway station at about 2:20 p.m., Ottawa police said.
"There was a bus driver that was confronted by [a man] who was brandishing a knife and made threats towards [the driver]. From there the [OC Transpo] special constables that were on scene were able to arrest the male," said police spokesman Const. Chuck Benoit.
No one was injured.
In addition to possession of a weapon, the man was charged with three counts of assault.
