Life on Mars: What the movie "The Martian" starring Matt Damon gets right, according to botanist

CBC Ottawa sent a real-life botanist to review Matt Damon's new film "The Martian", a movie about a botanist who gets stranded on planet Mars.

CBC Ottawa sent a real-life botanist to review Matt Damon's new film "The Martian", a movie about a botanist who gets stranded on planet Mars.    

Paul Sokoloff is a botanist at the Canadian Museum of Nature and has taken part in Mars simulations in the martian-like tundra of the Canadian Arctic.
