Justin Bieber proved it's not too late to say sorry — returning to the Chateau Lafayette with $100 after being called out by a bartender for failing to tip.

The pop star caused a stir on social media on Thursday as he wandered through downtown Ottawa and the ByWard Market ahead of his performance at the Canadian Tire Centre on Friday.

He posted a photo of Clarendon Lanes on Instagram, writing "This kid is rad."

The Chateau Lafayette tweeted that the pop star stopped by for a beer but that his "people" didn't tip.

Bartender Adam Scully said Bieber had "one small beer" but that his security detail didn't tip. He said Bieber was "very quiet," though he did hold a woman's baby after she approached him to say hello. "She looked like she was about to faint," he said.

Just after midnight on Saturday, the Chateau Lafayette posted on Facebook that Bieber returned to the bar with $100. "That's a class act in our books," the post said.

On Thursday, Bieber wandered through Ottawa wearing overall jeans with just one strap done up — just like when he met former prime minister Stephen Harper in 2012.

He was also spotted leaving the Tim Hortons on Slater Street and Metcalfe Street.

And at a nearby Laurier Avenue hot dog stand.

Later, he was seen leaving Mulligans Golf Bar on Queen Street, near CBC Ottawa. "Please don't the camera in my face like that," he told a CBC Ottawa reporter.

His tour of Ottawa comes days after he announced on Instagram that he would no longer indulge fan photo requests as it made him feel like a "zoo animal."

So, how do you feel about having another Justin in town, PM?
