Hurdman station changes cause OC Transpo delays
OC Transpo apologizes, says it's working with city to find a solution
OC Transpo apologized to passengers Tuesday morning for extensive city-wide bus delays caused by a new "temporary configuration" of Hurdman station.
OC Transpo is working with the city on finding a solution, the organization tweeted on Tuesday.
The Hurdman station main platform is relocating slightly east to "allow construction required to transform" the station to serve both train and bus passengers.
The move left bus drivers in a gridlock that completely bogged down traffic. OC Transpo is trying to fix the issue for the Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning rush hours.
OC Transpo has moved the stop for some bus routes and the changes can be found here.
The new Hurdman station is scheduled to be ready for the Confederation Line launch in May 2018.
Hurdman is a major connection hub for the new light rail service in Ottawa.
