H&M to open Oct. 17 at Ottawa's Bayshore mall

Sweden-based clothing retailer, H&M, will open its first ever Ottawa store on Oct. 17 in a 22,120-square-foot space at the Bayshore Shopping Centre.

Sweden-based clothing retailer, H&M, will open its first ever Ottawa store on Oct. 17, the company announced Tuesday.

H&M will open a 22,120-square-foot store inside the Bayshore Shopping Centre, which is currently under construction.

The store opening was first announced in April, but the date had not been confirmed until Tuesday.

The Bayshore mall is currently under renovations as it expands to include more stores such as H&M, which has been a long-coveted store for Ottawa shoppers.

The store will go into the space where Zellers used to be for many years.
