Ammonia leak shuts Gatineau's Guertin arena

Robert-Guertin Centre, home of the Gatineau Olympiques junior hockey team, is closed after an ammonia leak at the rink.

The municipality issued a news release Tuesday afternoon announcing the closure and said workers were on site fixing the problem.

All events at the arena have been cancelled until further notice including the Olympiques game against the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada, scheduled for Wednesday evening.
