Winterlude is on now!
The 40th edition of the festival runs Feb. 2 to 19, 2018
Button up your winter coat, lace up your skates and grab your family and friends. Winterlude is back in the Nation's Capital!
Originally created in 1979 to celebrate Canada's unique northern climate and culture, this winter festival is now in its 40th year. Whether you enjoy the 7.8 kilometre skate on the world's largest skating rink or taking in the ice carving competitions, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Go Canada Zone
Stop by the Go Canada Zone located at Confederation Park where we'll be celebrating the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games all of Winterlude. Cheer on your favourite athlete at our official Olympic viewing station and stay up to date on the latest Olympic information and programming.
All in a Day live broadcast
CBC Ottawa's All in a Day is coming to you live from Winterlude! Join us at the CBC/Radio-Canada tent in the Go Canada Zone on Friday, Feb. 16 from 3 to 6 p.m. where you can catch our live broadcast. Stay tuned for more details including special guests and cool giveaways.

Spend your Saturday morning with CBC Ottawa as we take over the CBC/Radio-Canada tent on Feb. 17 starting at 9 a.m. From a Winterlude themed scavenger hunt, to cool giveaways, make sure you come by and say hi (that is, if your hands aren't too frozen to wave!).
