4 places to see the King and Queen during their royal visit to Ottawa next week
Public stops include Lansdowne Park, National War Memorial
King Charles and Queen Camilla's visit to Ottawa next week will offer the public several chances to glimpse Their Majesties between the bits of official business that bring them across the pond for the first time since the King's coronation two years ago.
While in the capital, the royal couple's official functions include visiting the Senate where the King will deliver the throne speech in place of Governor General Mary Simon.
Here's a guide to where else you might spot them as they travel around the city. All four events listed below are open to the public, according to the itinerary released this week by Canadian Heritage.
Monday, May 26
Lansdowne Park
Time: 1:50 p.m.
After landing and being greeted in a private section of Ottawa's airport Monday afternoon, Charles and Camilla will make their way to Lansdowne Park to meet with members of the public and community organizations.

Rideau Hall
Time: 2:50 p.m.
The royal couple will then head north to Rideau Hall, the governor general's residence, to take part in a ceremonial tree planting.
They'll later meet privately with the governor general and Prime Minister Mark Carney.

Tuesday, May 27
Wellington Street
9:50 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
The next morning, Charles and Camilla will travel via carriage along five blocks of Wellington Street, stopping at the Senate of Canada Building for Charles's speech.

National War Memorial
10:55 a.m.
Following the address, Charles and Camilla will visit the nearby National War Memorial and lay a wreath to mark the 25th anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Dignitaries and a departure guard will then see Charles and Camilla off.
