Nova Scotia thunderstorm lights up social media
The storm pushed pause on the sold-out Lauryn Hill concert at the Halifax Jazz Festival
Thunderstorms crackled over Nova Scotia Tuesday night bringing rain and hail in some locations, but it was social media that lit up as the storms rolled through.
Twitter and Facebook were electric with photos and video.
And this one. Top of Brunello Estates is a fine place to watch lightning. <a href="https://t.co/yoklwp3G6K">pic.twitter.com/yoklwp3G6K</a>

The storm pushed pause on the sold-out Lauryn Hill concert at the Halifax Jazz Festival.
But after a 20-minute break to allow the thunder and lightning to pass, the concerts on the Halifax waterfront resumed.
And the reviews of the show were clear: anyone who left because of the soggy weather missed out.
If you missed it or decided to leave due to the downpour....you missed an amazing show! <a href="https://twitter.com/HFXJazzFest">@HFXJazzFest</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/LaurynHill?src=hash">#LaurynHill</a> <a href="https://t.co/6VL49fFPPP">pic.twitter.com/6VL49fFPPP</a>
