Teen hospitalized after Dartmouth shooting
A teenager was treated for non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in the leg in Dartmouth, N.S., according to police.
Police called about shooting on Courtney Road just before 11 a.m.
A teenager was treated for non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in the leg in Dartmouth, N.S., according to police.
Halifax Regional Police said in a news release they were called about a shooting on Courtney Road at 10:55 a.m. Tuesday. Officers found a male teen suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
He was taken to hospital and is expected to survive.
Police closed Courtney Road to traffic for several hours and announced the road had reopened in a news release at 11 p.m. Officers were still at the scene late Tuesday night working on the investigation.
