A rare reconvening of the Nova Scotia Legislative Assembly planned for Thursday has now been cancelled.
The Speaker, Gordie Gosse, said the session was no longer needed once Trevor Zinck resigned as MLA.
Gosse told CBC News he has never seen a day quite like Wednesday.
