Snow turning to freezing rain and rain in Cape Breton

In Cape Breton, the snow has begun to change over to freezing rain and rain.

Roads are slushy and slippery, but there have not been any reports of major accidents.

Flights have been cancelled to and from the Sydney Airport and Marine Atlantic's ferries are tied up in port.

There's a power outage in the Margaree area affecting about 160 customers. Nova Scotia Power says the outage was caused by high winds and snow, and says power should be restored by 6 p.m.
