Missing hunter in Colchester County found safe, say RCMP

Nova Scotia RCMP say a hunter in Colchester County who didn't return home Thursday was located Friday and is safe.

In a statement, RCMP said a motorist spotted the man walking along Truro Road in McCallum Settlement late Friday afternoon.

The missing hunter was taken to hospital as a precaution.

He went hunting Thursday, but did not return home as planned.

The man's ATV was found in a wooded area near Truro Road on Thursday.
