Schools in the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board are closing three hours early Thursday due to pending weather and bad road conditions.
All Halifax Regional School Board buses are cancelled, but some schools remain open this morning. The closure affects all AVRSB schools in West Hants, Annapolis and Kings counties.
Schools in the Citadel High, Dartmouth High, Prince Andrew High and Halifax West families are open — except for Brookside Junior High, Atlantic Memorial Terence Bay Elementary and Prospect Road Elementary — which are closed.
All remaining families of schools are closed.
Conseil scolaire acadien provincial schools in Halifax and Dartmouth are also closed today.
