3 CBC meteorologists answer questions about winter storm
Ryan Snoddon, Tina Simpkin and Jay Scotland tracking storm hitting the Maritimes
CBC's three meteorologists for the Maritimes have been taking questions about the storm on Facebook.
Ryan Snoddon, Tina Simpkin and Jay Scotland have been tracking the storm as it shifts from snow to ice pellets, freezing rain and rain in some areas.
A Facebook live was scheduled to begin at noon but was cancelled due to technical challenges.
Instead, the meteorologists have posted a video update of the most recent forecast. People can ask questions in the comments area on the Facebook video post and the meteorologists will respond directly there.
Environment Canada has issued weather warnings for all three Maritime provinces. There are wind, rainfall and winter storm warnings in effect in Nova Scotia and wind and winter storm warnings in P.E.I.
There are rainfall warnings in southern New Brunswick along the Fundy Coast and winter storm warnings in the rest of the province with 30 to 50 centimetres of snow expected.
