A gas station a lot of people drive by everyday in Halifax was robbed New Year's Day.

Police say they're looking for a man in his 30s who robbed a Petro-Canada gas station

A gas station a lot of people drive by everyday in Halifax was robbed New Year's Day.

A man with a knife walked into the Petro-Canada station on Quinpool Road and demanded cash and cigarettes.

He got what he wanted and fled on foot.

Police are looking for a white man in his mid 30s. He's about five feet 10 inches, and clean shaven.

He was wearing a black toque, grey sweater and black sweatpants. At the time of crime he was carrying a red Goodlife Fitness bag.
