Prince Charles, Camilla's Nova Scotia trip details unveiled

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall will spend just over 24 hours in Nova Scotia next month. The official itinerary was released Friday.

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall will spend just over 24 hours in Nova Scotia next month. The official itinerary was released Friday.

Charles and his wife, Camilla, will arrive at Stanfield International Airport in Halifax around suppertime on Sunday, May 18. They will head directly to Government House for the evening.

The public will have several opportunities to see the Royal couple the following day. They begin Victoria Day with an official welcome to Canada at Grand Parade in Halifax.  From there, they move to the Military Family Resource Centre.

That afternoon, the Prince of Wales will tour the Public Gardens while the Duchess visits Northbrook Community Centre. They will then tour the Seaport Farmers' Market and Pier 21.

The Royal couple will fly to Trenton airport and travel to Pictou. There, they will visit the Hector Heritage Quay and museum. Their day ends with a flight to Charlottetown and fireworks at Province House.
