Where, when and how to watch Nova Scotia's Olympians competing in Rio
Follow all the action as the province's athletes compete at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics
Some of Canada's best athletes are getting ready to compete in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, which officially start this weekend.
The Rio Olympics run from Aug. 5 to 21, and nine athletes from Nova Scotia are taking part.
If you're wondering where you can watch this province's athletes compete, check out their details below.
This list consists of all scheduled events the athletes could compete in, but they will only make it to the final events if they make it through the qualifiers first.
The list is in alphabetical order by last name.
Ellie Black
The Halifax-native gymnastics athlete competed in her second Olympics this summer.
Black, 20, competed solo and with the women's artistic gymnastics team on Aug. 7. She placed fifth in the individual all-round finals — the best-ever finish for Canada.
Ryan Cochrane
A last-minute selection for Rio, Cochrane, born in Windsor, N.S., and raised in Halifax, says he's elated that he and kayak partner Hughes Fournel are headed to the Olympics.

Mark de Jonge
Halifax native Mark de Jonge is considered one of the favourites in his event. He's considered one of Canada's gold-medal hopefuls.
What: Men's kayak single 200 metre qualifiers
When: Aug. 19 starting at 9 a.m. AT; semifinals start at 10 a.m. AT
What: Men's kayak single 200 metre finals
When: Aug. 20 starting at 9 a.m. AT

Eric Gillis
The only Nova Scotian on Canada's 65-person Olympic track team, Rio is the third Olympic competition for Eric Gillis.
The 36-year-old was born in Antigonish but now lives in Guelph, Ont.
What: Men's Marathon
When: Aug. 20 starting at 9:30 a.m. AT

Genevieve Orton
This is Genevieve Orton's first Olympics. The 32-year-old kayaker, from Lake Echo, N.S., qualified for the Canadian team in June.
Orton and her teammate Kathleen Fraser ranked 10th in the women's kayak double 500 metre semifinals. They will compete in the consolation finals on Aug. 16.

What: Women's kayak four 500 metre qualifiers
When: Aug. 19 starting at 9:30 a.m.; semifinals start 10:30 a.m. AT

Sydney Pickrem
Nineteen-year-old Sydney Pickrem is a dual Canadian-American citizen who was raised in Florida, but whose family is from Halifax.
Pickrem ranked eighth in the semifinals for the women's 200 metre individual medley and finished sixth in the finals on Aug. 9.
Erin Rafuse
Partnering with Danielle (Dannie) Boyd, Halifax's Erin Rafuse, 27, is competing in a brand-new competition added for Rio; this 49erFX event on Guanabara Bay will be the first time the event has been at the Olympics.
The pair was ninth after race four on Saturday.

Graeme and Jacob Saunders
The Saunders brothers are planning to take a little bit of Nova Scotia with them to Rio.
Jacob and Graeme Saunders are from Chester, and will be sailing a boat of the same name as their hometown at their first-ever Olympics.
The pair are 17th after their race on Aug. 14.
