18-year-old Upper Musquodoboit man dead after single-car crash

RCMP say an 18-year-old Upper Musquodoboit, N.S., man has died from injuries he suffered in a car crash on Wednesday that saw his vehicle flip over when it left the road. It's unclear what caused the crash.

RCMP say an 18-year-old Upper Musquodoboit, N.S., man has died from injuries he suffered in a car crash on Wednesday that saw his vehicle flip over when it left the road.

In a news release Saturday, RCMP say the man was the only person in a car travelling northbound on Highway 289 in Middle Stewiacke.

Police, fire and paramedics responded to the call around 10:10 p.m. AT Wednesday.

It's unclear what caused the crash.

The man was taken to hospital in Halifax and later died there.
