Motorcycle crash on Highway 102 claims 1 life

Police are investigating after a man from Lower Sackville, N.S.  died in a motorcycle crash on Highway 102 Sunday night.

RCMP said Ronald Edward McNeil, 63, lost control of his motorcycle near Elmsdale, at about 9:25 p.m.

He was then struck by a tractor-trailer  that was following behind him.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police closed the highway near Exit 8 for several hours while they investigated.
