Police are asking for the public’s help to find a Halifax woman who was last seen on Thursday.

Loretta Saunders, 26, hasn't been heard from since Friday

Police are asking for the public’s help to find a Halifax woman who was last seen on Thursday.

Loretta Saunders, 26, was reported missing on Monday. She was last seen Thursday evening and was in contact with friends online Friday afternoon.

She has not been in contact with friends and family since, which police say is out of character for her.

Saunders is described as a white woman, five feet seven inches tall, weighing 120 pounds, with straight light brown hair. She is believed to be driving a blue 2000 Toyota Celica with the Newfoundland licence plate HCP 543. The car has a loud muffler and a spoiler at the back.

She is originally from Newfoundland and Labrador.

Police say there is no information to suggest Saunders has met with foul play — however, police are concerned for her well-being. Officers request that Saunders, or anyone with information on her whereabouts, call police at 490-5016.
