Portable hot tub went missing earlier this month
A hot tub taken from a home on Coburg Road has been returned to its rightful owners, say Halifax police.
Between March 8 and 19, someone broke into the fenced backyard of a home in the 6300 block of Coburg Road and stole a portable hot tub that was stored next to the back deck.
Police said the hot tub was returned sometime Sunday night. No one witnessed the return.
The portable hot tub is soft-sided, green with a blue liner. Police said it was empty at the time of the theft.
Given the weight and size of the hot tub, police believe several people were involved in the theft and that a vehicle was likely used to transport it away from the area.
The hot tub cover was left behind.
Police don't have a description of the suspect or suspects.
