Death of man shot in west-end Halifax ruled homicide
Halifax Regional Police are considering Anthony Charles Johnson's death to be a homicide. The 31-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot wound near the corner of Connaught and Chisholm avenues on Jan. 26. He died in hospital on Thursday.

Halifax Regional Police have determined the death of a 31-year-old man who suffered a gunshot wound in the city's west end last month to be a homicide.
Halifax police were called to a report of a shooting around 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 26 at Connaught and Chisholm avenues. Police found Anthony Charles Johnson at that location.
Johnson was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries that night and he died in hospital on Thursday.
The shooting is still under investigation and police are turning to the public for help.
