Man, 61, believed to have life-threatening injuries after fall from ladder, Halifax police say

Nova Scotia's Department of Labour's occupational health and safety division is investigating after police reported a 61-year-old man fell from a ladder on Tuesday in Halifax.
In a news release, Halifax Regional Police said they were called about the incident on Marginal Road at approximately 1:40 p.m. They said the man was taken to hospital with injuries that are "believed to be life-threatening."
The Department of Labour told CBC News in an email the incident was reported at 1096 Marginal Road.
A spokesperson for the department said stop-work orders were issued to PSA Halifax Limited Partnership and Cochrane's Electrical Contracting.
