Lacewood Needs robbed at knife point say Halifax police

The Needs Convenience Store located at 70 Lacewood Dr. in Halifax was robbed Monday night, according to Halifax police.

Police say around 9:30 p.m. they responded to a call made from the store. They say a man wearing a black ball cap and a black winter coat threatened the clerk with a knife and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes.

The Police K9 unit tried to track the suspect, but the search was unsuccessful.
