James Cuthbert, missing 71-year-old man, sought by Halifax police

Halifax Regional Police are asking the public for help to find a missing man. James Cuthbert, 71, left his home near Highway 7 sometime Sunday morning.

Halifax Regional Police are asking the public for help to find a missing man.

Police say there is no reason to believe Cuthbert has met with foul play but they say his disappearance is out of character and they have concerns for his well being. (HRP)

James Cuthbert, 71, left his home near Highway 7 sometime Sunday morning. Police say Cuthbert visited an Esso service station on Cole Harbour Road and then Canadian Tire in Dartmouth Crossing at around 12:30 p.m.

Police say there is no reason to believe Cuthbert has met with foul play but they say his disappearance is out of character and they have concerns for his well being.

He's described as a white man, six feet tall, weighing about 170 pounds, with brown hair, slightly balding, grey beard, hazel eyes, rimless glasses. He was last seen wearing a brown leather bomber-style jacket, brown loafer shoes with a neat appearance.
