Halifax's Uniacke Square hosts community cleanup

A community cleanup in Halifax's Uniacke Square Saturday morning drew plenty of volunteers and lots of kids.

Workers spent time raking, planting flowers and laying down grass seed.

There were also prizes for the children and a barbecue.

Uniacke Square is an area of public housing in north-central Halifax.
