Halifax police investigating sudden death of Ontario man in Bayers Lake

A 35-year-old man was found dead Wednesday morning and police are investigating what happened.

Police say the 35-year-old was found dead around 7 a.m.

A 35-year-old man from Ontario was found dead early Wednesday morning in the Bayers Lake Industrial Park, Halifax Regional Police said Wednesday afternoon.

Police have not released the man's name and have not said how he died beyond that it was a sudden death. An autopsy was set to be performed Wednesday. 

Police say the man's body was found behind the building that houses Michaels craft store and Old Navy. A call about an injured person came in shortly after 7 a.m.

Officers with the special investigation section of the force's Criminal Investigation Division are looking into what happened. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers. 

Michaels reopened at 10 a.m. and Old Navy reopened at 11 a.m.
