Halifax lawyer to stand trial in sexual assault case
Lyle Howe, the Halifax defence lawyer accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman last year, has been committed to stand trial for sexual assault and administering a noxious substance.

A woman alleges she was attacked on March 21, 2011.
Jeffrey Kendall Brown faces the same charges for the same incident and will also stand trial.
Both trial dates will be set in Nova Scotia Supreme Court Sept. 6.
Howe elected trial by judge and jury.
Howe was called to the bar in 2010. He was shown on a poster for the law program at Dalhousie University and featured in the school's "Discover the Unexpected" campaign.
