First donations for Syrian refugees dropped off at old Rona site
Drop-off centre opened early Saturday because people were waiting outside to give
The first donations were dropped off Saturday at the old Rona building in Bayers Lake.
The building at 350 Horseshoe Lake Drive was donated this week by developers to store donations needed to help Syrian refugee families who will be arriving in Nova Scotia shortly.
