Police say death of woman in Bible Hill was a homicide
RCMP said there is no evidence at this time to suggest a risk to the public
Nova Scotia RCMP say they are investigating the suspicious death of a woman in Bible Hill, N.S., as a homicide.
On Jan. 3 around 9:30 a.m., police were called to a home on Bomber Drive for a wellness check and found the body of a 42-year-old woman and an unconscious man who was taken to hospital, the RCMP said in a news release.
Police said there is no evidence at this time to suggest a risk to the public.
In an email to CBC News, RCMP confirmed the man and the woman were known to each other, but there is no evidence to suggest the sudden death is a case of intimate partner violence.
Police initially said they were investigating a suspicious death, but on Jan. 9 said in a news release they considered it a homicide.
