Atlantic Canadians capture spring in their communities

Spring is blossoming in every corner of our region and across Canada. Here are some photos you shared through the CBC initiative Hello Spring.

Spring is blossoming in every corner of our region and all across Canada.


We asked you to "Show CBC your spring" and you've shared photos and videos of the re-awakening to nature in your backyards, outside your windows, on walks through your neighbourhoods ... and you continue to do so.

It's all part of CBC's Hello Spring, a Canada-wide digital initiative inviting Canadians to share their own unique glimpses of spring on Instagram and Twitter, using the hashtag #HelloSpringCBC or by visiting cbc.ca/hellospring.

CBC is collecting and highlighting the best of these images and videos on the Hello Spring website, putting your front gardens, backyards, and windowsills front and centre in a colourful curation of springtime scenes.

Glynis Rogers took a stroll through Long Lake Provincial Park in Nova Scotia and shared this photo.

As the landscape and our surroundings begin to turn green this spring, Dan Gero shared this image in the Noel Shore of Nova Scotia fo Hello Spring.

We just had to share this photo from CBCNL's audience gallery. They shared more signs of spring. Kathy Scott found this unexpected visitor in her backyard in Paradise.
