Atlantic Canadians capture spring in their communities
Show CBC your spring! Share your photos and videos using #hellospringCBC
We asked you to "Show CBC your spring" and you've shared photos and videos of the re-awakening to nature in your backyards, outside your windows, on walks through your neighbourhoods ... and you continue to do so.
It's all part of CBC's Hello Spring, a Canada-wide digital initiative inviting Canadians to share their own unique glimpses of spring on Instagram and Twitter, using the hashtag #HelloSpringCBC or by visiting cbc.ca/hellospring.
CBC is collecting and highlighting the best of these images and videos on the Hello Spring website, putting your front gardens, backyards, and windowsills front and centre in a colourful curation of springtime scenes.
Here are just a few of the images you shared to say Hello Spring in Atlantic Canada:
Pauline Champion came upon this flock of birds in Charlottetown, P.E.I.
Shelley Hancock captured this scene in early April in Victoria By the Sea, P.E.I.
Blair Sampson, of Rockdale, Cape Breton, eyed these first crocus blooms of spring.
From winter to spring: Silver thaw, near Butterpot Provincial Park, N.L. made for a picturesque photo captured by Tom Fowler.
Neil McTiernan in Moncton, N.B. sent along this photo of a lung wort plant. It's the earliest blooming plant in the province, before the daffodils.
This bald eagle is keeping a sharp eye on things here in Lakeside Beach, P.E.I..
Glynis Rogers took a stroll through Long Lake Provincial Park in Nova Scotia and shared this photo.
We just had to share this photo from CBCNL's audience gallery. They shared more signs of spring. Kathy Scott found this unexpected visitor in her backyard in Paradise.
