Three people and a dog have died after a two-vehicle crash over the weekend in Yarmouth, N.S.

Yarmouth Rural RCMP responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash Saturday evening on Highway 103 in Greenville that involved a car and a pickup truck.

The car was found severely damaged off the road. Police found a 22-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman dead at the scene. 

Police say the truck was also heavily damaged. A 39-year-old woman who was sitting in the front passenger seat was airlifted to a Halifax hospital but later died. A dog in the truck also died in the collision. 

Police say a 47-year-old man who was driving the truck and a 12-year-old girl who was a passenger sustained minor injuries.
