North building has sprinkler problems
One of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia buildings in Halifax has closed because of a problem with its sprinkler system.
Permanent and temporary exhibitions in the gallery north building won't be open while the system is repaired.
On Wednesday, spokeswoman Donna Wellard said none of the art is damaged.
She said the gallery received a directive from the fire marshal to do the repairs.
The gallery had to close in January 2009 for several weeks for repairs after ground water leaked into the building.
The building, home to Nova Scotia's collection of 15,000 images from the province's past, attracts about 35,000 visitors each year.
