Yukon RCMP made four arrests over the weekend for drunk driving, including an on-duty taxi driver.

Cpl. Shawn Pollard said the police were tipped off by the public about the taxi driver.

"One troubling one was an impaired driver operating a taxi, actually had a fare on board," he said.

"I find that extremely disturbing. I believe he's also being charged with dangerous driving, just due to his driving, what was going on."

Friday marked the beginning of the annual Christmas crackdown on impaired drivers.
