Faro, Yukon couple 'amazed' about having territory's new year's baby

Yukon's new year's baby is returning home Monday, along with her 'amazed' parents, Amber Etzel and Eric John of Faro.

The as-yet-unnamed girl was born Jan. 2 at 10:24 p.m. Hospital staff gave her a toque for being the first Yukon baby of the year. She also has a two-year-old sister, Maya.

Her parents say they weren't thinking about having 2016's new year's baby, but say they're amazed about the way it worked out.
