Yukon and N.W.T. flood damage

Flooding, washouts and mudslides caused extensive damage to roads and communities throughout Yukon and in some parts of northern B.C. and the N.W.T.

Flooding caused mayhem on highways and in communities in Yukon and N.W.T.

Flooding over the weekend caused extensive damage to roads and some communities throughout Yukon.

Some communities in the N.W.T. and in northern B.C. were also affected by the floods. Trucks and cars were backed up for days on many main highways in Yukon due to damage from the floods.

The Alaska Highway reopened Monday night after days of delays and repairs. The Campbell Highway in southeastern Yukon has also been reopened.

The Nahanni Range Road and South Canol Trail remain closed.
