A phenomenal sunset in Hay River, N.W.T. Marilyn Bolt-Marshall took this beautiful picture of the sky at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Thanks so much Marilyn for sharing this with us. (Submitted by Marilyn Bolt-Marshall)
A stunning sun at River Lake in the N.W.T. This beautiful shot was captured by Janet Rose. 'It was surreal. It almost doesn’t seem real because it’s -20 and everywhere I look is a complete white out, but somehow there’s still a flowing waterfall. I feel so lucky to be able to drive 45 minutes off the Ingraham Trail and a 15 minute snowmobile ride and be able to witness such beauty. There’s not a lot of places that you can do that in the world!' Thanks for sharing this story and great picture Janet! (Submitted by Janet Rose)
A sharp sundog in Yukon. Mike Obstfeld snapped this photo while he could! 'Was delivering fuel to city of Whitehorse’s new building as a cold front with snow dust came through causing the sun dog, only lasting a few minutes.' Thanks for sending in this beauty, Mike. (Submitted by Mike Obstfeld)
A beautiful Yukon sky. Kelly Choy sent us this picture and says this is about 75 km north of Mayo, Yukon. Thanks for taking the time to snap such a beautiful picture! (Submitted by Kelly Choy)
