Yellowknife RCMP treating John Wifladt's death as a homicide

Yellowknife RCMP confirmed Friday they are treating the death of John Wifladt as a homicide.

39-year-old died after being found unconscious and injured in apartment

Yellowknife RCMP confirmed Friday they are treating the death of John Wifladt as a homicide.

The 39-year-old was one of two men found seriously injured on Dec. 14 in the Sunridge Place apartments in Yellowknife. He died later in hospital.

Wifladt's friend Colin Digness was also found injured in the apartment. He was medevaced to Edmonton and RCMP say he remains in hospital.
