The Yellowknife Women's Society unveiled its new Centre for Northern Families daycare and childcare centre, a project at least seven years in the making.

The new daycare building will have four more spaces for infants and toddlers, said Bree Denning, the society's executive director. It will also have weekend programming, and courses for young families.
Denning said she hopes it could be open by the end of March, though that's not for certain.
