An arrest warrant has been issued for a Whitehorse man in connection with a break and enter last week at a downtown electronics store.

Benjamin Wright, 18, has been charged in the break and enter at Triniti Technologies Friday and is also facing additional charges.

Police also arrested a 14-year-old male youth Saturday who is facing break and enter charges in connection with the theft. He has been released from custody on a Promise to Appear.

Whitehorse RCMP say they have other youth suspects identified and are attempting to locate them.

The Main Street business, a dealer for Ice Wireless services, was broken into early Friday morning. Thieves smashed a front window to gain entry and stole thousands of dollars worth of electronics. A security camera recorded the incident.

Police searched a Whitehorse home Friday evening and recovered a number of items suspected to have been stolen from the business.

Police are still investigating and ask anyone with information to contact the Whitehorse RCMP at 867-667-5555.
